I wish I had time for FF14. I love everything about the game other than having no friends who play and in general not having the requisite time to play an MMO.

Ugh, I hate cancel culture.
It’s just a joke guys. You can joke about anything.
It’s not as bad as that other guy, this is no big deal.
Well I didn’t watch him anyway.
Is there any I missed guys? Just preempting the trolls and idiots round these parts.
Also the fact that Fortnite is literally an amalgamation of the video game world this decade. Without growing up playing Minecraft would most of the players of Fortnite actually like the building aspect? Battle Royales had been around for a while and were very popular before Fortnite. Fortnite just did what WoW did…
Halo has always had some version of MMR, trueskill, or whatever proprietary name they had for it at the time. This has been confirmed to also be in place for MCC, it all runs in the background completely hidden to players.
What they might be confusing it with is the CSR system in 343 halo games that is more of a player…
Yeah it is the difference between blockbusters and small independent films. Actors talk about a lot the difference between the type of set experience between the different levels of movie making, and how it is a giant machine of people doing hard work to get that stuff put together. It is also generally second unit…
In my experience ‘independents’ tend to be ‘libertarians’ which are just Republican light. They cry about government oversight, hate taxes, and think the world would operate fine with businesses running everything and the government dissolving. So they are independent, until it comes to voting, and they vote red,…
So who has tried playing this and can explain how you can spend $1M plus on a character and have the game not be known as Star Citizen? Not saying it is justified in SC, just that I know enough to know you could. But one character, in on game, I have no idea how that works.
Not going to argue too much as I have not seen as many movies in the latter half of this decade that I would have liked, however, Big Hero 6 is still far and away better at showing what depression does to a person than Inside Out can even pretend to show. I would absolutely swap those two, and because I think it is a…
That’s still 50% better gas mileage than my RX8. I’m having more fun daily, but um... I’m just hoping premium doesn’t get back above $4 a gallon like it was when I first had this car in 2010.
When we get battlefield 4.2 next year I think we may all finally be happy with a military shooter again.
Kotaku and Jalopink are going to survive right? Right guys? Anyone, please.
I normally despise Bose products, for lots of reasons. That being said I have been using a pair of wired quiet comfort 25's for 4 years now, many times for 5+ hours a day and they have never been uncomfortable. I’ve used them as gym headphones, work headphones, gaming headphones, and while lacking some bass, they are…
As I replied to someone else, still making consumable parts outlive the warranty is about perception. If my brake pads went out after 20k miles, I would be left with the feeling that the car was not of very high value, even though that is a consumable part. People are really finicky about the quality of the things…
Yeah but you aren’t worried about your brake pads because your windows already don’t roll down and there is an odd smell of burnt toast every time the heater is turned on. But hey, that’s just a Land Rover right?
Yeah I was making more of a general assertion, because yes pads are a general wear and tear item, but if a company consistently put pads that lasted 20k miles on their vehicles there would be enough consumer complaining to probably also hurt the bottom line from lost sales, or lost repeat customers.
In theory they would be made to hopefully outlive whatever initial warranty is offered for the vehicle. It certainly raises the cost a little, but keeping the customer out of the shop during the warranty is certainly the best way to keep the margins as padded as possible.
Yeah we really don’t care. Now if you are over there pre-rolling and fudging your rolls, I think Flint the Fierce is suddenly going to get crushed by a wayward ship that happened to get picked up in that tornado you didn’t notice over there.
“Sorry, I rolled a 1 on a d1000 disaster check. Sorry Flint.”
Nah, you’re a fucking adult now, pay for your content.
Also comments are disabled on every article too. So ya. Total RIP Deadspin.
Okay I guess.
