You'll just have to keep a CRT handy! I have one of the last produced 27" Sony Trinitrons and it still runs great!
The game is not really that hard and the guy seems to be very early in the game (judging by the amount of metal parts he has) and using a broken bat. Of course it's going to take a while to kill a zombie.

Beautiful but it would've been nice if he made the view move more naturally like someone holding a camera; it kinda takes me out of the realism...
