Here’s the thing: Ajit Pai doesn’t give two shits or three fucks about what anyone else thinks. As long as cable companies are pouring money into his oversized, novelty fuckwit Reese’s mug, he’ll do what they want, not 99% of the population - fortune 500 companies included, IF they partake in the 99%.

Even though the article makes the case loud and clear multiple times, it bears repeating to people: THIS is why it’s good to talk about politics on video game sites. Because (surprise surprise) things that happen in the real world actually effect you in your little video game dungeons you lock yourself in.

A lot of D&D players tend to make the mistake of substituting alignment for personality in their characters. Instead of coming up with a complex character with its own desires and personal motivations, they start by saying “well I’m lawful good so I guess that means I want XYZ”. I think this problem has led to a LOT

“Ohio is an open-carry state that allows residents to openly possess firearms with or without a license.”

Like I said—and maybe I should’ve been more explicit—but the dude is free to create whatever content he wants, and if he feels stifled creatively, and has felt that way for several years, then it’s totally encouraged that he get out there and spread his wings to find out what he really wants to do.

Kind of just sounds like he wants to be able to drop F-bombs and generally be ~edgy~ without having to deal with the fact that his primary subscriber base is kids-to-teenagers playing a game he himself got into when he was a teenager. No problem with that, I feel; but let’s just call it what it is:

Uhhh... I don’t know what world you live in, but A LOT of people have repetitive jobs they don’t really care for because they need to pay the bills. And most don’t make a ton of money doing so. So I think you are mistaken when you say nobody would take that kind of job, especially if it made them a ton of money. A

Instant karma right there.

The hell? Is this fun? Because it definitely doesn’t look fun.

They definitely handled this better compared to launch of Sombra. I wonder who’ll they launch at BlizzCon then.

I for one love our new online cloud future where the content we pay for can be disabled a year later.

10 months, and the plug is pulled... that was quick.

We need to get rid of tipping period. That is a US based thing that is disgusting. We pay for a businesses employees? Hardly anyone in the world does this.

A lot of fast food places time the service. If your times go up on average, management can come down on the store, the managers, and the employees. No raises, staff cuts, etc.

Ugh. Had a first date try to do this once. I saw the pile of ones come out and asked if it was for that purpose. He said yes let them earn it (it wasn’t a very big pile...). I tipped the waitress and bartender for my drink generously and walked out. No fucking way am I going to be a part of that and it’s a giant

They’ll just put a Pachimari in the payload or something

For the fucking love of whatever gods have sought fit to curse us all:

Its also “dying” because 28 Republican-led states refused to set up their own exchanges, and had 19 Republican-led states not refused to accept the Medicaid expansion.

Science is perfectly fine, thanks. It’s the scientifically illiterate writers and “journalists” who parrot PR pieces or misinterpret (willfully or not) regurgitated abstracts to sell papers/magazines/views that are the real problem.

Genji-cat has been absolutely killing it, the latest strip has had me in fits.
