I guess the problem I have is with all the jealous condensation people show for these streamers. Streaming has its own share of problems, but it’s one of the few opportunities young people have to make a living doing something they genuinely enjoy. Instead of telling them to go do something they hate just to survive,

I’d agree with you if “real jobs” that let you raise a family and have some semblance of a happy, normal life weren’t vanishing at an alarming rate in the Western world. Year after year. And that’s before the virus came in and destroyed millions more.

Because your friends from school aren’t on Netflix.

If someone sends you a thumbs up, yeah, they’re done with the conversation. It doesn’t mean they’re being rude, or that they don’t like you. It means they’re probably busy doing something else. You should wait until you actually have something of substance to say before you text them again, or if you just want to chit

For the attention. And if this guy didn’t do it, someone else was going to swoop in and claim it all.

After everything that’s happened, I wouldn’t trust a single bit of information that comes out of China. This is going to be a disaster. The only question is whether or not they’ll tell the rest of the world about it.

On the few occasions when you have to leave the house for food and stuff, the people risking their lives on the front lines to keep essential businesses open will be delighted to hear that you enjoyed exposing yourself to the virus for no good reason.

I think they’re just really nice, subtle and mature designs that appeal to adult fans. If someone loves Pokemon enough to wear it on a T-shirt, what’s so different about wearing it on their underwear?

Halfway through Final Fantasy VII Remake and loving it.

My deluxe edition took an extra week to arrive, but it’s beautiful and has a place of prominence on my shelf right now. The game itself is amazing too.

The kind of person who walks into a Walmart and buys a game solely because of the cover, without knowing anything about it... well, they’re not really interested in Final Fantasy or RPGs in general. This game is aimed at fans who’ve been waiting 15 years for it, devouring every new piece of information that comes out.

My backlog is big enough to last me years. I’m not too worried about delays, one way or another.

She’ll probably be banned longer than the guy who filmed a child in a public bathroom, which is also mind-blowing.

Sure. No one’s saying the show is perfect. It’s not. But like I said above, the show doesn’t lean on stuff like that, as evidenced by literally every other scene so far.

I love how sex positive it is. A show that absolutely revels in its fan service without leaning on stuff like school kids and accidental groping is a rare gem that needs to be celebrated, not taken off the air.

Even though almost anything could be considered ASMR, I think a lot of the people watching and making these videos don’t really understand what ASMR is. The former group just wants something to help them relax, while the latter group saw a relatively easy and cheap way to build a youtube career by whispering at a

I’m currently only halfway through the visual novel, but by the end of the first chapter I was already kicking myself for having ignored the series for long. It really is fantastic. And while I want to watch the existing anime (after I finish the VN, of course), I know it’s not exactly perfect. I’m really interested

Commenters keep pointing out that travelers refuse to pay more, but they’re glossing over the fact that the number of people who can afford a $1500 plane ticket is getting smaller every day. And the root cause of this problem is the same thing that allows (or encourages) airlines to provide increasingly inhumane

I remember when getting a movie adaptation was a sign that a game “made it” or was somehow worthy of greater recognition. And now that games are outperforming some Hollywood blockbusters both in terms of money and creativity, there’s no reason for the industry to feel inferior. In fact, I feel like plenty of movies

Because while those other businesses aren’t a perfect alternative, going to a brick and mortar store helps put food on the table for people in your very own community. And even if you have to shop online, it doesn’t hurt to spread your money around. It keeps companies on their toes, and compels them to stay
