Maybe somebody can explain to me why parking is such a “thing” with people. Just park where you see an empty spot. Are you crippled or something that you can’t walk a few extra steps?*
You don’t need a study to know that lane centering technology is capable, but U.S. road markings are horrible.
For as long as we keep letting old people drive without re-testing them, lane-centering is good. My elderly mother was bitching about the lanekeeper going off in her Acura all the time, so I went for a ride with her.
I really like these features because they make it much safer to twiddle on my phone while driving.
Challenges of poverty: when you need your car to get to your job to make enough money to hopefully keep your car roadworthy. No car --> no job --> no income --> stay impoverished, never climb out.
In case anyone is wondering this is usually caused by a tire being run on flat or severely under inflated and then being re-inflated. My point being there's no way this person didn't know this was going on. Impact break bubbles are 1 thing, but fuck
Real men use shoestrings as emergency dental floss.
Is there any better allegory of our tech obsessed culture than a picture of something you love that you can literally block out with your phone?

But, to be fair, the entire world would probably be better off in the long run if you kicked puppies instead of letting water run unnecessarily while you brush your teeth. So, you were trying to sound like a less shitty person by comparing it to puppies, but really, you’re at least equally as shitty?
People still do this? What the fuck.
Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. A gajillion times yes.
It’s a MKIV so you’re also dealing with the following issues:
An MKIV Frankenstein with 100,000+ miles at $17k? LOL
Minis were getting too reliable.
But why does it need to be by Bluetooth? So you can activate the sports exhaust from your house? What benefit is that over a dial/switch/knob/button/drawstring?
So I’ve drove the FR-S and BRZ when they came out, and have been around quite a few Miatas. I followed the FR-S/BRZ religiously during development and had all intentions of buying one (ultimately didn’t)
My guess is that they will leave it 2.4 NA, as least in the standard trim. Subaru spends a lot of effort pushing its brand in motorsports and to have a 2.4 Turbo as standard would disqualify the car from competing in production class stage rally. As of the 2019 ARA rule book, the limits are 2.5L NA and 1.6L turbo for…
215-hp is gonna feel great in that thing. Should be almost as quick as that new Accord Becky in accounting just bought.
I think the disconnect is this: under heavy load/throttle, most gas engines don’t run stoichiometric. They run significantly rich, which means not all the fuel burns. For gasoline engines, “running lean” means around stoichiometric and “rich” is significantly richer.
