You can; I did this just yesterday with leftover chicken chili verde. It’s maybe not quick quick, since you have to bring the chili up to temp, then give the eggs about 10 min to simmer, but it worked like a charm.

Pretty sure it’s green pepper & mozzarella. (or is meant to be — food stylists are tricksy beasts).
Interesting question! Do health departments do much fact-checking in terms of whether ingredients are what they’re claimed to be and how they’re sourced, or are they mostly concerned with general cleanliness & safety standards? If it’s just the second, then I bet the ‘restaurant’ would pass with flying colors, since…
That New Yorker story on Damon Baehrel is an absolute must-read, especially for foodies. Seriously, why are you still reading this comment? Go!
Up until quite recently, I’ve been very happy with my local Walgreen’s, but for whatever reason, they’ve had significantly longer lines starting around the beginning of the year. The people there are still great, though.
I was a child of the 70's and I still vote No on avocado green. However, pale-ish yellow sounds nice.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Pepperoni & Pineapple Pizza is the food of the gods. (Add crushed red pepper for extra heat.)
One could even serve that with a side salad, if one were desperately craving larger quantities of leafy greens.

Every expense that a business incurs is ultimately paid for by the customers, regardless of whether it’s separated out in the bottom line or rolled into the basic price.
To each their own, but I far prefer the higher “crisp” to “tender” ratio of traditional fries.
Quit cooking them until they’re limp and olive-green, then. Just past blanched, when they’re still bright green and crisp is the way to go.
Also, because the other stores simply aren’t in those shoppers’ neighborhoods. And for people who don’t have cars, and perhaps live in cities without great public transportation (i.e., most of America), getting to a store outside their neighborhood is no easy feat.
It’s also a very serious risk to pregnant women and their unborn children, which is why sushi, deli meats, soft cheeses, etc. are off-limits during pregnancy.
Agreed. My dad picked up some TJ sushi recently, and it was significantly worse than Safeway sushi, which is nothing outstanding.
“farmers under 40" — Is there a noun missing from this sentence, or does it actually mean “farmers younger than 40 years of age”? Because if it’s the second, it’s looking pretty sketchy, if not flat-out illegal age discrimination.
On Worst Cooks in America, host Anne Burrell colors in the offending finger with a red marker when she catches a contestant doing it.
