I gave the European-style butter a try, and found it too greasy, with not enough of the creamy, milky flavor of standard US butter. Not luxurious at all to my palate.

Depends on what you mean by “regular.” The majority of plants & animals raised for food in the US are treated with various chemicals that render them non-organic, so “organic” food isn’t the statistical norm. It is food in its “original” form, so I guess you could call it “regular” by that definition.

What the [heck] do you mean, cheddar’s “not allowed” for the interior? The only kind of grilled cheese I make uses extra-sharp cheddar, and it is DELICIOUS. Is it a little greasy? Sure, but so is the outside of the sandwich since I use a generous slathering of butter, so it’s not actually a problem. 

Ruinous? Really? I fail to see how the sponsorship harmed Tiger in any way at all. As noted, he had professional & personal issues of his own, and it’s hard to imagine that if he hadn’t accepted the deal, his life would’ve been any different.
