While I completely agree, I wish they wouldn’t just call them “Speed Runs”, it makes 90% of “Speed Run” videos disappointing to people who are expecting a highly skilled player going through a game extremely fast.

The basis of “games” are rule-bound concepts. In modern video games, rules are the confines of the environment and the mechanics, getting around rules = cheating.

Lost interest once I saw he was using glitches. Nope. Sorry, but I’ll never accept Glitching, Exploiting and TAS as actual speedruns. Cheating to beat a game faster isn’t beating a game.

Is it just my perception or does it feel like flattering, work appropriate clothing in general is just a myth? ModCloth and Anthropologie, troublesome though I know people find them, like 6-7 years ago used to have a “classics, with a twist” vibe. Now everything comes across like “resort/festival season” aka bra

ASOS, Hello Holiday, AspireUK, Unique Vintage...

Yes. Eshakti 4 eva! I always get a million compliments on my dresses from there (which all have pockets) & they always offer a million coupons so you can get dresses for like 60% off.

Same. I bought three colors in this one 1940s style dress and keep hoping they’ll bring it back in florals.

LOVE my eShakti. I have over 20 dresses and shirts from them.

Well that’s demoralizing. Damn, I love Modcloth, I have so many clothes from there. I’m wearing one of their shirts right now. Guess I will not be shopping with them anymore.

I went, and honestly, I left unimpressed. It’s great to try things on in person, but you have to have everything shipped to your house. And it wasn’t as large a selection as I had hoped.

eShakti is life. They get me so many compliments. And pockets.

I used to love Modcloth but I found the sizing and quality hit or miss lately. There clothes are also super kitschy now and they have fewer work appropriate clothes I can wear. I still browse the site when they have a sale but it’s not worth the hassle of buying something that I will likely have to return and have to

If you guys like modcloth but don’t want to shop there due to recent acquisition, check out helloholiday.com. They are a small shop based in Lincoln, Nebraska but are so fucking cool and have a similar selection as modcloth.

There are quite a few suggestions in the comments above you. I guess it also depends I find you look more for a good selection of plus size fashion or just the retro clothing style, but seriously, look through the comments,

eShakti til I die. Though I wish they’d bring back more if the vintage-y stuff.

Uniquevintage.com is pretty great.

You should try eShakti. Almost every dress comes with pockets, or you can have them added. You can also customize the length, arm length and neckline. ALSO, you put in your height and they make the dress for you. And its still around the same price range as Modcloth. I love them.

Damn. I have so many cute things that came from Modcloth. But now I can’t shop there.

Kind of funny that she would ballyhoo her participation in the Women’s Strike right before she took the big dough from a company that would/will probably fire workers for any kind of strike and generally treat them like shit.

I used to love Jet, but stopped using them shortly after the acquisition was announced. This is why we can’t have nice things, people.
