Texas is run by morons, which is a separate problem all together. Their electricity problems could be easily solved with proper planning and less corruption.

I guess so, but the revised law makes sense. Can’t count the number of plate covers that I see obscuring plates. It’s not like it’s a cost issue for the owner, like maintenance issues can be.
MK6 GTI here. Two kids now in the back. The hatch can get a bit tight, but the trick is roof box for road trips. I put a Thule Motion XT XL on top and it is massive and works great for all but the really heavy stuff. Puts your crap outside of your passenger space, low enough to load and park in any parking garage.…
I think the Fairmont is relatively desirable for engine swaps or other power mods is because it’s a Fox platform car, one of the most successful drag racing platforms with a ridiculous amount of support. It’s not because they are valued as a garage find masterpiece.
I also should mention that I grew up around the Taurus and was of the era to have several friends who picked them up slightly to moderately used and thus have plenty of direct experience with them.
I know the Taurus was a big jump. But it is what it is and a lot has to do with the era. No one really wants Audi 5000s these days either.
That’s def the closest one, IMO. But it’s still not a manual, arguably not a screamer either.
Maybe, but finding a manual sedan with a screamer engine isn’t exactly easy either.
The direct inject thing is interesting in the US.
That said, basically zero Euro cars have a power bump when they come here without a filter.
‘97.
This album is great. Even if you want to claim “sell outs” or “commercial” verses their earlier stuff, the second half of the album makes that argument hard to pull off. It’s probably their best album overall, certainly the best put together.
It also happens to be one of the coolest looking race cars of all time, IMO. And that is coming from someone who is far from a NASCAR fan.
Maybe.
Getting a truckster vibe from this. The double lights. The mismatch.
Must be dirt cheap. When I met my wife, her car had been serviced at cheap oil change place for ~70k miles. It was sludged up massively and the top end loved to tick like crazy. Another 60k on Mobile one has cleaned it out significantly, but not to a like new cleanliness that quality oil would have managed.
Angry face is the new tail fin.
The good news is that is just one big turbo mod away and the bonus is you also get back the “will it blow up?” feeling.
The guy in the aero department has buried all of these because he is sick of hearing about it.
and head over to your Plymouth dealer - the guy there has been looking for you.
