If you think about it, it’s not terribly different than how wheel torque on a ICE car works, especially with a torque converter type trans. But either way, low rpm at the wheel is high torque with the lower gearing and as you go up it falls off per gear.

Is it a bad faith argument? Can you honestly say that you can’t costs anywhere in your life? Can’t find a scenario where you could improve your income/work life?

I am not going to say that wage growth is strong, BUT you can get a more affordable loan for a 3k car than you can get for that 25k bmw suv/giant truck/flavor of the month that you want because it makes you look like you have money or because you just want it. And the 3k car might be cheaper to run over time.

Ultimately there is a lot of choice on what car to buy...not just the price. The boring smaller car with cloth seats and not much else might be cheaper and more reliable that the decked out giant suv.

Counterpoint - the front and sides of this thing has tacked on garbage that is worse than the previous design which, while perhaps a bit bland by modern standards, at least wasn’t falling for the trend of tacked on garbage.

I’d argue you may have more options underwater currently.

Might be slightly different this round, mostly because people aren’t using their cars as much as their homes at the moment.

VW sets GTI ring times with a manual because they claim it’s faster. And the Clubsport times are generally faster than the R.

I personally don’t like to drive the auto as much. And yeah I drive in traffic and the manual is usually a plus to me for traffic too - it’s just smoother and easier to flow with traffic for me.

Sure, function. But that long hood just looks like money.

I think they are saying they are striving for both. If you have a fast charge, then perhaps people will be happy with less battery all around.

David Tracy unexpected finds that Tetanus is the cure for COVID-19 and makes millions off of people flocking to his back yard for the earthy medication

Walmart is just a piece of the puzzle. Point being I’ve heard people across the political spectrum saying they were going to plant a back yard garden.

“It’s amazing watching a certain group of people just embrace authoritarianism”

This is how we get to actual food shortages.  Morons buying up seed like TP, planting it, and getting little to zero yield because they have no fucking idea what they are doing.

It’s a maybe because you can still hit something and the stuff you will hit would be cars that you are passing at more than double their speed - they are still out there to hit. Perhaps more importantly, traffic is far more chill in general at the moment, people are even less on the lookout for others going 150+mph.

Ok, so you reduce the risk of killing other people on the road. Maybe.

Even if that were the case, what fucking difference could it make?

It doesn’t though. And there is substantial irony in your own statement.

Because going to get the RV makes the most sense AFTER you’ve been exposed, I guess?
