Good god, Kathy Griffin is a pox. Even before her stupid publicity stunt she was just flat out annoying. This was an ugly cry for attention from a “star,” who was keenly aware her 15 minutes were up and she was running on borrowed time.

XaaS, IMO, is a bubble that’s fit to pop. I’m knee deep in it every day in the world of IT, and I see so many frustrated companies that regret cutting their internal infrastructure back to go with Cloud/Managed XaaS solutions.

I don’t know why but I can’t help but feel this entire thing is veneered in a thin layer of actual racism. Like, stereotyping blacks as having a penchant for dark liquor, and speaking in an uneducated manner when inquiring to the whereabouts of said dark liquor?

Yeah, I’ve struggled with that a bit but usually I’ll go out of my way to find them on LinkedIn (which I actually never use, ironically) and send them a request. Ones that I’m really keen to keep contact with I’ll give my personal cell and email to, but I can count that number on one hand.

I’m surprised at the lack of advice to keep your personal life as separate as possible from your work life as possible. I myself have a strict “no work acquaintances,” rule when it comes to social media.
