Bionix has more than its fair share of solid moments
I was a huge fan when I was 11-15 of this show…had a ton of them taped on VHS. This was the first show aimed towards kids that I remember having, as the article noted, carried gags from show to show. Some of these gags made you feel like you were a real "insider" to the show. I also loved the deep voiced narrator…
Left DC a few years ago, but the song makes sense to me as I was familiar with the various soup kitchens, and finished my DC run living in SW before they built the stadium. Any foreign friends I had visit were always shocked by the poverty and problems, literally 1/2 a mile from where they write laws for equality. …
God bless TV execs: always willing to jump the shark at precisely the wrong moment.
But did he party in the parking lots? I would assume yes, right?
Oprah's reaction, though.
Could be my own revisionist history (also I was 13) but I don't recall the Browns being as public as the Goldmans were during the trial. When it came to the show, before he came on screen, I already had Goldman's mustache and floppy hair in my head.
I think it used to be G4.
He also put on a knit hat.
Series was fantastic. So much better than my expectations. Show of the year. How about those dramatic zoom-ins?
Such an amazing series. FX totally made up for my stupid decision to follow the advice of a family member and watch Sons of Anarchy (blech!)
I'll be crushed against the back bar!
I would imagine that will happen once they finish all this bidness with Golden Voice or whoever runs Coachella, Panorama, Lolla, etc.
Me too…well, 32 is not old ;) but it seems Panorama, Coachella, (I forget the name of the Montreal Fest) and Lolla spent their main budget on getting Radiohead and LCD Soundsystem. Best line up I have seen so far besides Primavera is for Austin Psych Fest (Levitation).
Yes, they've teased it for a while and Primavera Sound advertises their Radiohead performance as them performing "all new material."
Top Print is for 40 somethings looking to see these bands to relive their youth, the small print is to attract people to watch the large print bands ironically.
Got two in Presale and scored another two for a friend in sec. 210. Beats driving to Montreal and as much fun as Lolla looks…I think I'll pass.
Really love the show. Then someone mentioned they think it moves too slowly. It does move slowly…but the time it takes to set certain details up makes it all worth while. But I do miss the bombastic world of BB….I guess next season?
This song is my go-to song when hitting the first major highway or turnpike when I go on road trips, so yes, this makes a lot of sense to me.
