Fair point, but even from the POV of malaria, the WHO lists this drug as an essential for any public health system. So the outrage is still merited. AIDS patients aside, think about how this effects Red Cross and other charitable organizations fighting Malaria. I hope Bill Gates kicks this guy in the nuts.

Speaking of….supposed to be announced tomorrow….

Not sure if it was ripped off as the Pool launched in the mid to late 90s, but I guess so depending when the Phish stuff launched. It really branched out of the core fans who were active on rec.music.dylan in the 90s. The forum had people who actually worked closely with Columbia, the nuts who sift through 25

There was a rumor that the BL Series would officially release Blood on the Tapes but it seems like it might not happen. Got to admit though, they Bootleg Series have all been amazing.

"technically" speaking Who Framed Roger Rabbit was a Disney movie, so Jessica Rabbit, obviously, right?

I always start on the assumption that Bob Dylan hates me no matter what I do.

Nice write up, but one thing I miss is the fan interaction. I admit I am only 32, but between the years of 2002-2006 I was still actively trading with what was then called the "Dylan Pool." It was a forum that, at its core, held a "fantasy football" type game based upon Dylan's setlist on different legs of his tour.

OK. My official entry and disappointed it didn't make the cut: Tom Waits, Cold Beer on a Hot Night, Sydney '79. Pretty easy to find on Dime. One of my favorites.

That would take a whole week, an as others noted below, I feel this post was more about artists with less of a open taping culture. Dylan is one of the most bootlegged artists of all time, yet his camp is dead set against any recording being made, but yet here we are.

I also have a great SDB of him at the Black Cat in 97 or 98? Great recording.

NBC's take on Girls?

I wish I still was! Moved away from DC about 6 years ago, maybe I too will make a triumphant return. Hope the pig roast went well!

I was in your dilemma Tuesday and Mario week pushed me over the edge. It has been farrrrr too long since I had a Nintendo product in my home. Looked around and found the refurb site. It has great reviews on reddit and you still get the 1 year warranty with the unit. Not bad at all, especially when you consider the

That's nice and all to give us your level name, but what's the addy for the pig roast?

Get a refurb from Nintendo directly. That is what I did…it is arriving Monday and knocks $100 bucks off the price.

CBS does love their celebrity walk-ons. Dave did them a lot in the 90s and 00s, mostly to some promotional effect. That said, it was worth it with the whole Cowhers bit. Funny to see the old doors of the Ed Sullivan theater being put to good use again, an integral part of the set.

Really enjoyed the first week. The opening certainly needs some help—the transition just doesn't seem to work. It worked really well when Djokovic was on…and you got to love how pure Letterman that bit felt. The set is pretty good, although I'd prefer a darker motif and I don't like the video screen backdrop. TVs

Spot on. It is interesting to watch Colbert do these types of bits because the "character" Colbert would have done that bit full throttle, but straight-man Colbert eases off the gas just enough to cut it. That is what I saw in that bit last night and he really hit it out of the park.

I actually had a little crush on Alex Mack. Real Monsters wasn't so bad, if I remember correctly. Also, I could see Wild and Crazy Kids coming back and doing OK. Also, bring back Rocko. Honestly, the rest of these are doing pretty well in the memory of my mind, except for David the Gnome—that's just awesome.

I am still upset how downhill TV Land Nick at Nite has gone over the years. I Thought full house was sh*t when I was a kid and I think the same thing now. Where is Dick Van Dyke, Rhoda, Mary Tyler Moore, I Dream of Genie, Lucy, Dragnet and Alfred Hitchcock Presents. Yes, sNick was fun, but I really enjoyed when
