Yeah my bad, 16 episode deal was struck and the idea of the 4 movies being produced..

I know that the deal was for the DVDs to be released and then it would be broken up for CC to air at a later date, but I do not think additional seasons were originally a part of that deal. I could be wrong, but that is how I remembered it. Apologize in advance if this was not the case.

I should add the episode is a lot fun…also I am always re-grossed out about Leela's marriage (and I would assume sexual relationship) with Cubert.

Re-watched this one last night and I thought it was great—then the sloppily thrown together ending. I know Farnsworth convinces us to believe some ridiculous theories that make little sense, but we are led to believe that time just restarts and then restarts again? Also, finding a message from Leela was a little

Right. I sort of did the same thing and would agree. My point was more when you do a look-back review, it is unfair to lump them together, which I feel many people do. However, the reality was these were released 6-7 months a part and thus took a different approach towards development and pacing.

I felt this was a strong movie and release by Futurama. The trouble with the four movies is that you can easily lump them with the rest of the CC shows that followed and I do not think that is completely fair. I think at the time MG really thought this would be the end of the show, might as well go out with some

1) Flaming Homer
2) Artie's Salty Dog
3) Snakejuice

How did Pee Wee ever get his pancakes? Did I miss something?

I want my 3 minutes back, Internet.

This was a tough watch. During this whole ordeal I had not viewed any old footage of Cosby. By watching this, memories of my dad throwing in a VHS copy of this performance and laughing himself silly floods my memory. This and Eddie Murphy's first album (along with his best of SNL) are a part of my family's comedy

Now only if this comment gets more up votes than the original and you'll be all set.

Yeah, never followed this guy but see his stuff shared all the time. I don't know. I mean, I'm 32, if I wanted quality sight gags then I just watch old Simpsons or think about the movie Airplane! As for memes, I just don't find them funny or all that creative. Way to make me feel culturally isolated, Internet.

Wow. I would have thought the Robot Devil was in so many other episodes until I read this review. On another note, the direct-to-DVD movies weren't great, but they were not bad either. I think I am coming from a place where Futurama was off the air, I was sort in an on-again off-again relationship and on some cold

Better check the hyperlink…was going to read about the death of the actor and got your "dead air" message. Unless that is part of the bit?

Didn't even bother to read the review (just being honest) but I did catch one promo clip of the show on TV a week back. It reminded me of all the terrible 90s situation comedies that I thought were long behind us or at least subjugated to airing on on TV Land.

I take issue with seemingly successful professionals deciding to wear thick-framed crazy colored glasses. I'm looking at you Purple Glasses, ESQ.

Was he scrounging around looking for asses?

Uhh, the bullet train?

Good compilation, but it is missing Judge Doom, unless I missed him.

True. I only gave the first season a watch after hearing an interview on NPR's Marketplace.
