I always used to fall down the god damn well. I guess I am excited for this return?

Thought it was great. Really enjoyed this season and hope it comes back for a 3rd. That said, beyond Walking Dead what is AMC really relying on? I always maintained they were just lucky to have gotten HBO's pass on Man Men and Breaking Bad was maybe a lucky chance for the network, but what else is left? Better…
Yeah, I think the string of BK, October Rust and World Coming Down is pretty damn solid. I always have them as a guilty pleasure band. A band that I saw a few times, but went alone because no one I knew would bother to cough the $17 to see them. I'm in my early 30s as well and I would list OR and WCD as probably…
Probably Bloody Kisses era, though Dead Again had a nice mix of the old and the new—it was a solid album for them to go out on.
Type O Negative.
Pride.
Right, so it did make him a "target" even if he never wanted to be one. As an aside, I remember when Mutations came out, it was praised, but the larger story was how the album was not a "true" follow-up etc. Anyway, all good points.
Meh, "Steal My Sunshine" was a wayyyy better tune. Let's get the history on that song, ASAP.
Not a media whore, no, but the videos were on constantly. As I mentioned above, I think a lot of it could have been resentment from the fact that Beck was being anointed as some sort of "spokesman" for the burnt out grunge generation.
His videos were on non-stop, as I remember. You couldn't escape Devil's Haircut and Where It's At for a while. New Pollution, too. He won the Grammy and people would speak of him as if he was this generation's Bob Dylan. Also, if this guy was plugged into the music scene for a while, I am sure he crossed paths…
Oh, I made myself sad.
The party came off cartoonish. I immediately thought of Homer and Bart watching McBain and Homer says, "It's just a movie, son. There's nobody that evil in real life." In the end, the over-the-top depiction of the party made me giggle mostly. Now, those parties they used to throw in the Wire or the Sopranos? I find…
Garfield is criminally underrated.
I was just mentioning any type of film where they had underlying humor. Lebowski is bad example as the humor certainly was not "underlying, but both of those mentioned make sense, though.
Looks amazing. Seems as if they are tapping into the dark comedy devices Coen's often use. This is Fargo's Lebowski, maybe?
It was 30 seconds of a 4 minute bit…was that really "seriously Anti-Cosby?" If anything, Larry Wilmore has put his teeth in and has not let go since day 1
Anyone else feel the winners this year are quite predictable?
Caught up on season 1 via Netflix. But damn you AMC for only keeping 4 episodes on demand. It is as if they WANT us to turn to torrents.
Janice and Tony had great rapport as on screen siblings.
True! I guess I felt the down South atmosphere was ok for meandering…but more stories about LA corruption seems a little underwhelming.
