Counterpoint: No

Homegrown right wing groups? Darn right, surveil away. Churches - no, don’t conflate the very rare anti-abortion wacko with organized, continuing terror threats by Muslim extremists. I ain’t havin; that.

Beard? San Francisco? Driving on a bridge?

A fair point, Indiana could use some topping up in the gun law department. Having said that, with some exceptions (home invasions {rare} and robberies) I can very reliably avoid most areas fraught with gun violence. In Chicago, I stay near the Gold Coast or Beverly or Lincoln Park and avoid Englewood and South Shore.

You know, I was thinking about having a conversation with my son about career choices. If he wants to be a retail store secret shopper he should study psychology, apparently. Very helpful, thanks.

Example? Citation?

That is a very cogent argument, thank you. I may borrow some of that invective.

I support reasonable gun laws. Many are on the books now, but seem to have no effect in places like Chicago. But a reasonable level of elevated background checks makes sense to me. I also see no reasons for assault rifle style weapons to exist. Large magazines are tricky because many times criminals are not stopped by

I do so wish to be “helped” by smug progressives like you, its probably why I patronize this website. Thank you so much for caring. Caring is, I suspect, the only thing you bring to the table.

Steroid-fueled monster. He won’t be missed.

Whites form stable families at a higher rate than blacks. Fact. Whites commit proportionally fewer crimes than blacks and are therefore confined less frequently.

He may have been romantical but he surely wasn’t grammatical.

This is horrific. Why on earth was this man shot?

I can see where that might apply, so thanks. I just can’t imagine a situation where they just shoot the guy down for sitting there reading a book. It defies logic. Some police shootings are so clearly egregious that there is no room for argument - Chicago (L. McDonald) and Charleston (W. Scott) - but others, like this

I’m genuinely confused by this. The view is that a black officer shot an unarmed disabled guy who was sitting in a car just because he’s black. Does the claim by police that he brandished a gun not change the narrative?

Because the two things I cited are individual choices that lead to bad outcomes like wealth disparity. Make better choices. Stand for the anthem.

That’s baloney. Get a job, save some money you will get a loan and a house. This isn’t 1949.

Here’s two. Feel free to peruse my non-partisan government sources.

“Pussy? Where. Hey, baby, want to come to Little Rock and look at my etchings?”
