I did see a video on burning angel once that was full of RPG references. A spelljammer reference was made and my mind was blown. The girl had a tattoo of a d20 as well. Awkward and slightly embarrassing.

Relic have done a pretty solid job with the 40K dawn of war games. I trust them. Any single player experience is going to be better story wise than an MMO.

It was actually pretty good in both ultima underworld games. You were free to just attack and steal things from pretty much anyone, but you could end up pissing off everyone in the castle.
