For outside code like that they would have to do full regression testing, and reverse engineering to make sure they weren't introducing malign code into their build. Then there is the problem of liability, insurance, contracts, intellectual property, etc.

Except the picture there is only using 1 and a half octaves instead of the 2 octaves on the keyboard... will it scroll across as you play? how hard is this going to be to see when you are playing?
