If it works, count me in. Any chance of using this with other real guitars? or guitars with midi pickups on them? I have enough guitars (real and plastic) as it is.

The one thing I want in Rock Band 3 is to be able to select which instruments are being used *after* selecting the song. I hate having to quit out back to the band selection screen to add or remove an instrument because someone is having a break, or someone wants to sing and play guitar for a couple of songs.

@Infinitum: I thought Rock Band 2 came out over here a week after Beatles RB? I've definitely seen it in stores... though maybe those were import copies.

Yeah, I don't think they revolutionized the music genre with Rock Band 2, or The Beatles: Rock Band. If they think that adding some badly needed options that should really have been patches on Rock Band could as revolutionising, then count me skeptical.

@Chowderholic: you could probably check some of the walkthroughs for that info. remember it's been out in japan for a few months now.

@yanipheonu: you can create them from the beginning. Just select customise. I made some hybrid ones because i couldn't be bothered switching all the time.
