I mean the Oregon and Washington coasts are supposed to be largely wiped out by an earthquake/tsunami combo in the near future, yet neither people nor businesses seem to be moving because of it.

So they basically bit off more than they could chew, but were super picky about hiring the talent they needed as the show went on? That’s just irresponsible in any profession.
Just wait until a streak freeze doesn’t work and they have the audacity to ask for money to repair it. Killed my motivation and I didn’t touch it for weeks afterwards.
The Pokemon Company owns the franchise and the trademarks, of which Nintendo is a majority shareholder (but not the only partner). GameFreak and Creatures Inc are both rather small, hence why Nintendo is generally the one enforcing legality and handling other consumer facing things like PR. Even in cases of actual…
Does anyone know of a good study as far as the effect of quantity goes? Hookah smoke is clearly toxic, but you inhale way more than a cigarette in one sitting. For someone that does it socially (a few times a year), I’d like to know how that stands up to spreading it out daily in the form of cigarettes.
Nintendo is infamous for being terrible at noticing customer demand and responding by taking down “illegal” supply of that demand. Soundtracks are only one example in a long chain of fan games (most notably Pokemon fan games) of being taken down due to Nintendo’s strict IP policy.
Considering you can just as easily call to order the delivery, it seems exaggerated to me. Rather than call the location and order in minutes, this guy chose to waste a ton of peoples’ time and money in court. The wheelchair equivalent of this whole situation would be demanding that a second elevator in be put in…
Interesting factoid is that while convenient, there aren’t any security measures to lock out after X attempts. I was waiting for an order in Little Caesar’s once and my buddy was just entering random codes to see if it would lock up (he wasn’t trying to steal anyone’s pizza, not that the store would’ve believed him).…
I’m not sure of actual percentage of people that get VR sickness from analog movement, but having demoed VR to thousands of non-gamers it’s much higher than you might think. It might not be a big deal to the small subset of people using VR currently, but if VR is going to reach “mainstream” status like the Wii it…
VR is becoming more accessible but until they solve locomotion issues I don’t see it entering the “mainstream” in the sense that millions of people are logging tons of hours in VR daily. The most popular games of today involve large amounts of walking or running, neither of which work in room space (even if they’re…
GameFreak only has like 150 employees. Considering that includes all of their administrative and IT and PR and everything else, it’s only a mid-sized company as far as games go. I would doubt that they have more than 50 developers total, and not all of them are animators. Furthermore, Pokemon might not be the only…
Pokemon is a big enough franchise that they should have received funding and support from Nintendo to outsource some of the animation work to a third party studio. I’m sure there are thousands of animators that would love to have Pokemon in their portfolio.
I never understood the draw of Index since it just looked like a Vive Pro with hand tracking controls, but as soon as I watched the demo video I could see it was “finger down, finger up” tracking rather than actual interpolation. As a dev who’s experimented with Manus and a couple of other haptic gloves, I wasn’t…
The other streaming services aren’t interested in superhero series, even if they’re comedies. Netflix has been purging them as of late and I don’t think Hulu has been trying to pick that many up either. The MCU sparked a flood of TV series that over-saturated the market and now they’re trying to backpedal.
Lmao these people have clearly never played Ark. Pets falling through the world or wandering off is common in that game and taming was the game’s main draw.
This isn’t a game character, but I made this earlier today and felt like sharing.
Was this the “best” season 8 could have been, no, but the finale was acceptable considering the bad setup it had. I think most fans’ frustrations come from season 8 having such a large budget AND taking an extra year, yet still feeling rushed.
Rushed is what happens when you go from detailed source material to little at all. They probably got a list of bullet points from RR and focused on hitting them instead of taking their time and keeping plot holes to a minimum.
Honestly you should pick up this game even if you don’t like multiplayer. The AI is pretty decent so even local battles with them are still fun. If you are lucky enough to have some friends it’s also really easy to host your own server with bots and get around the server issues the game currently has.
Any internet website that ships stuff to you had your address, and any hack on those companies will expose it.
