You do understand that the Volvo Polestar is at a different price point than the M, AMG, and RS cars, right? The prices on Polestars in my neighborhood are closer to C300's, and $30k less than C63's.

Nope. What you are advocating, for a new car purchase, is to take both the depreciation AND interest hit. Whether you finance or not, you will pay for the depreciation on a new car. If you choose to finance the purchase as well you’re also on the hook for the interest expense.
I don’t know. I got $12k off msrp on a v60 polestar. It’s a pretty interesting car so far.
