I am still devoted to this show (although if pressed for a reasonable explanation, I would be at a loss to provide one)

I too found the opening stoning scene particularly disturbing. One of the more brutal murders exhibited on television…. and not just this year. Comparatively, more horrific than any murder/death scene I saw all season on Hannibal, which in and of itself, sets the stakes high for horrific deaths.

I don't know if this has already been posted before, but in case it hasn't, I will offer this to the community.
