Thank you! You really should watch the show, if you have the free time. It's a great show!

Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!

Yeah, The Flash captured me right away with its light and zippy tone. And I'm sure I'll enjoy Arrow too; I just don't want to watch it right now.

Well I was more or less saying that I don't think all superhero shows or movies need to be all dark and gritty all the time, like everyone stated above; and I am going to watch Arrow and Daredevil at some point, they're just not on my immediate to-watch list.

Yeah that was really funny; that whole end reveal/song was good though, especially the audience totally going along with it despite not knowing what was going on at all and Velma's mic drop at the end.

That's one of the reasons why I still haven't watched Arrow yet, despite knowing it is good; it looked very much like they took the tone of the show straight out of Christopher Nolan's Batman films (all of which I enjoy). But I don't need a TV show like that.

Me neither!

If I was able to enjoy 10 seasons of Smallville, a show that I sincerely love while still acknowledging its deep flaws, I think I can forgive Supergirl for its faults. I just love that the show seems to own its positivity and joy; and I'll definitely be watching.

That does sound awesome. Was it like an alternate universe where he was Superman or something? I really don't know much about the comics, sadly.

Oh, well. It was cool that she was included, anyway, at least for a little while.

I personally am fine with it; I actually like that she's her own person. It makes her more unique in a way. Plus she actually became a character in the comics at some point, right? That that was able to happen stands to the awesomeness of her character.

Well, I'm only in my second year of college now, so its 10th season finished when I was in 9th grade.

Now I'm just flashing back to all the times that I would fall asleep while watching the show on DVD, or put the show in only to go grab a snack or something and come back a few minutes later to have that theme song wailing from my TV over and over again as the menu played. (Still have the song on my iPod though)

Ah, Smallville. This was literally one of my favorite shows when I was growing up (it finished when I was in high school); and while in retrospect, I know that it is a very flawed show that could have been so much better than it was, I still have great memories watching the show and so it will always be a positive

Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!

Just in case anyone did not see my review of Episode 6, I did post it on on Wednesday's What's on Tonight thread; but I posted it really late, so you would need to scroll to the bottom of the thread in order to see it.

Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!

That's definitely one of my main worries of the show, whether or not they can give Daphne a successful gag each episode. It's worked so far, but who knows how much longer it can last.

Sorry for the late upload, everybody! I was really tired last night and unfortunately slept through my alarm telling me to wake up and post the review when The A.V. Club updated for today.
