Just saw it yesterday and while I enjoyed parts of it here and there, I felt it lacked fire and fury. I wanted it to be MORE didactic, MORE critical of the white institutions that prop up racists, not some rose colored view of things that they didn’t even do.

That's funny because I loved Stereolab up until Dots and Loops and then I pretty much checked out. I liked that one a lot for a week or two but Krautrock Stereolab is infinitely better than electronica Stereolab. I still bought their stuff for a few albums but this one was the peak for me.
