I just looked it up. The play is Canadian and is about the painter Tamara de Lempicka and Angelica Huston played her in LA and New York in 1987. And they used real Lempicka paintings that Jack Nicholson (obviously) and Barbra Streisand owned until the insurance costs got too high.

Yeah, I kind of thought that, too. I read a thing on bears in Scandinavian myth. Those warriors used to wear bear pelts to take on the spirit of the bear. The "serker" or "serkr" (in Old Norse) means shirt. So bear shirt.
