I tried going sober a few months after The Election. I really, really did. I’m an admitted alcoholic... friendly, never “drunk”, but a maintanance alcoholic tbs.

Was watching that 2000’s show on CNN last night and the segment on reality telivision had a clip of The Apprentice.

And I think that’s the source of my anger. Tough to face, but reality usually is. 

Our Dad’s sitting in a room swapping terribke dad jokes, talking football, Reagan/Trump, and how funny liberal anger is to them... *shivers*

Thank you for that :-) I love my Dad and I *know* he loves me, which makes me an incredibly lucky person. We just don’t always like each other, and Trump has definitely become a thorn in my side that’s contributed to some of our recent heat. Painful as it’s been, I haven’t given up on the grouchy old man.

My Trump-loving Father and I got into our monthly blow up yesterday about this very thing. He had the nerve to call me delusional for saying that R v. W is gonna be one of the first things our new republican overlords will go after. He told me to “get off the script” for saying this administration is coming for us…
