I went to law school at a big state school that is prestigious enough to draw people from around the county. I would sometimes watch my out-of-market team at this big beer hall style bar that had 20+ tvs surrounding a huge seating section and consistently drew fans of every team, who clumped together at picnic tables.

And this is emblematic of why Adequate Man is more relevant to this lady than Lifehacker ever will be.

His paws are in the water bowl!

I’m an in-house attorney (in a totally different industry, but still) and this is the type of stuff that makes the job worth it. You get really good at doing the same thing over and over, it’s great to have an off the wall issue to look at.

Just popping down here to say that “what would happen if Cormac McCarthy had written Alanis Morissette’s ‘Ironic’” is a fantastic line.

Hunting is not itself a conservation activity. It also isn’t necessarily an anti-conservation activity.

Funny, that is the one that I’m best at. I can barely stand on one foot, but I’ve got that one on lock.

Also a runner and I started at a chill, not-crazy bikram studio about 6 months ago. It has really helped. I still suck at about 4 of the poses, but who cares.

Exactly. I hate hippie bullshit, but I’m now going to yoga 3-4 times a week. My back hasn’t felt better since I became a desk jockey. My knees hurt a lot less when I run. My burgeoning carpal tunnel is almost gone. And I’m less of a bitch to my husband when I’m really stressed. This is now the shit that matters to me

That is an interesting juxtaposition, but you are really comparing apples and giraffes. What gets prosecuted on the state level and what gets prosecuted on the federal level are very different. The state handles almost all of your local crimes, such as breaking and entering, assault, theft, and rape. The feds have to

Wut? A comment arguing for liberalization of female sexuality is a troll comment? He/she may be wrong about the hypothesis, but nothing about it strikes me as trolling.

I starred, but that is insufficient. Holy fuck you are amazing for seeing that through to the end. I certainly can’t tell you how you should feel, but my most sincere wish is that every time you run into yet another painful memory or comment or consequence from his terrible action and your bravery, that you are

Like, totally not sarcastically, thank you for solving this mystery for me.

I can’t speak for Jezebel, but I’m certainly willing to consider that PP is terrible, just as soon as I see some evidence that it is in fact terrible. This “controversy” is not that evidence.

I remember this from last year, and the thing that still bugs me is that the city is fucking Atlanta, they couldn’t get a direct flight there? I thought one of the few “perks” of Atlanta was that at least you could get direct flights.

It can’t be a good sign that I take this as good news. The party never has to stop!

I went to a Brewers game at County maybe 20 years ago, but I’ve never been there for a Packers game.

Claw marks in the wood do look kind of cool, though.

They haven’t played games in Milwaukee since 1994. The fan base certainly extends to Milwaukee, but Green Bay is almost a three hour drive away.
