Ecoboost with performance Pac vs r-spec is about $4500 more in Canada. I made this compro many times when I was shopping. That and the ecoboost engine is basically a tweaked 2.3l mzr. Coming from that motor, I wanted something not that motor.

Notsure about the US, in Canada it’s $2300 difference between the base veloster turbo and the 3.8l G-coupe R-spec. So yea, those will be cross shopped here.
Lol. I’ve never really had space issues with the coupe. It the primary vehicle we use for Costco runs. Only thing it doesn’t fit that my old speed3 did fit is the hound.

I had a Speed3 and went to the G-Coupe. The seats in the G-Coupe are by far the best I’ve ever sat in. (Which includes FiST & FoST Recaro). The 3.8 R-Spec is a very enjoyable daily driver. Very well could be. I’ve had a kijiji (Canadian Craigslist) seller try to pull something like that. As soon as I said I’d be driving there to pick the car up and pay at a bank after title wast transferred the ad vanished and I never heard from the seller again.
