This! This exactly. Chihuahuas who are treated like dogs and trained like dogs will usually be pretty cool. Perhaps a bit more manipulative but they will be just as big of sweethearts and as well behaved as a big dog.

I am willing to bet that the reason why you can't stand chihuahuas is that you have only ever met or seen a chihuahua with a bad owner. When chihuahuas are with good owners who actually treat them like dogs and train them like a dogs instead of carry them around as an accessory, they are actually quite awesome.
Thank you, Zap and I think I can see where I might not have been clear as I thought I was in my first comment to you. I honestly did learn a lot last night and today. I learned things that didn't get through the last time I went through this with several people on Gawker for whatever reason. I guess I wasn't ready. I…
I just posted the same thing! I should have known to read the comments first. Totally agree with everything you said 100%!
No, you're not wrong and I admitted that in my last comment. I appreciate you replying civilly. I absolutely do understand that it isn't your or any other POC's responsibility to walk me through it. As I said, the commenters who helped me did not have to do it and that only makes me more grateful that they did. I…
Okay, first of all I just want to say that I get what you are saying and I admit I am experiencing a learning curve with this particular issue. I am realizing the more I read both sides and the more I listen about how arguing this point makes POC feel that it isn't worth the energy to argue when there are more…
Right? I don't even understand the logic they were using. Hahaha!
My earlier comment was an immediate reaction to that tweet at the beginning of the article, now that I have read the article it was really well written and incredibly informative. Thank you for sharing this.
!!!!! Wow!!!!! That's insane. Just plain insanity.
This is 100% true. I get so enraged when people in my family pull the Obama being president means racism is over card and then go on to talk about him being a Kenyan Muslim. People in my family who I never thought were racist have all of a sudden become super racists since Obama got into office. It is mind boggling.…
I understand but the rage inside of me at hearing the story wishes you had said something. But when it happens all the time you probably have to start numbing yourself at a certain point. Fuck them and I'm sorry you have to deal with that all the time.
Right? SNL would waste all their chances with her and waste a lot of her time by not giving her enough exposure. I think TDS will help her move on to way better things than SNL.
It's insane. I mean, I knew stuff like this happened but I still get enraged when I hear all the stories. Why would they assume that they guy wasn't being honest about being the homeowner? Because he's black and no black person ever has been that wealthy? Really? Gah!
That's got to really fucking hurt on a whole other level when it is somebody of your own race being racist towards you, though.
They didn't even want to ring you up? I don't...I just don't fucking understand what makes people be like that. I mean, yeah, I know it's racism that drives it. I just don't understand being like that to a person no matter what your preconceived notions are. I'm sorry that this is something you have to deal with all…
I hope that you let them know that you weren't a delivery person before you left. How horrible!
This! This all day. I have tried to express this sentiment before but I was misunderstood and people kept putting words in my mouth so I obviously wasn't expressing myself well. You have expressed exactly what I was trying to say about blanket statements like this so perfectly and eloquently. Thank you.
Kudos and applause to you, Charlotte!
