I also have a V60 with lease coming up April 2024. I’m thinking of going to the V60 Polestar but my dealer tells me the V60 T8 will be available as a cheaper non- Polestar next year.  Also another option is that the A4 Avant ( non -Allroad) is coming back Stateside next year along with the S4 Avant.

Even though it’s “factory order only,” many dealers will stock the V60, just like many dealers stock the factory order only V90 (non-Cross Country).

It’s not importing. Puerto Rico is the United States. Your simply shipping it domestically.

No, your gut is wrong. The T8 Hybrid is coming to the States, but at a later date with pricing to be announced. It’s in the article.

Special order only means no incentive and big price tag, won’t sell.

Dealers in markets that like wagons - mainly California and DC/Northern Virginia - tend to keep them in inventory. Dealers can order them for their lot.

Leave it Jalopnik to spin this as bad news. It’s not, just production shifting around. When China plays fair, so will the States. I get liberals hate America and want America to just give in to everything, but it doesn’t work that way.

Wagons are not volume vehicles in the States unless you are Subaru, but the reality is that wagon buyers are incredibly well off, high income and desirable to luxury brands, which is why all the main European luxury car brands sell a wagon in the States - BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Porsche, Jaguar and Volvo, along with

That’s the Sidekick (fka GEO Tracker fka Chevrolet Tracker fka Pontiac Sunrunner), not the Samurai. The Sidekick also came in a two-door model which was, again, not the Samurai. The Samurai was the American market name for the Jimny.

Because the Q50 will lease for significantly less than a Stinger. And also, if purchasing, the discounts are significantly more.

These sell for 20-25% and lease for less than an Accord. There’s a lot of value here. I fully agree with the review’s assessment, but I also leased a $52k Q50 Hybrid for $0 down and $398/month with tax.

It’s based on the Grand Cherokee. Hardly a CUV.
