My investment plan has consisted of playing so little that I‘ll come back in a few weeks and spend the ~20,000 that should be sitting in my bank by that point.

GameStop is also currently offering $200 store credit for a switch plus a $25 promotional credit. So you can get a new switch for just under $100. A little more than the shipping costs to Nintendo, but a viable option for those with older Switches.

The whole concept of the “dad build” in Destiny 2 came from people who no-life the game and need excuses for why someone rocking a pulse rifle is beating them. You still have to aim these weapons to win, they don’t shoot and kill your opponent for you.

Yeah, so if you’re getting beaten by people with “dad builds”, they’re likely better than you. This game still requires you aim your weapon and everyone has access to these builds. Choosing to use a less effective loadout just to “prove” yourself doesn’t impress anyone.

Crucible was never intended to be a skill-based, mlg-style pvp. If you remove perks from weapons in pvp, you’re going to see the population drop off the map. A large population of players grind raids, gambit, armories for weapons with ideal pvp loadouts.

The difference with this vs. the GTA Online launch was at least that game had some 80 missions available at staggered levels. This game has 8......8 total story missions and that’s it if you wanted PvE.
