I did actually change some of my alphanumeric passwords after that comic posted. I think the visualization of my password is disturbing and unique.

Some campus police are actual police officers. I know at my university they were and they were legally authorized to use their authority on all university system grounds (ie any where in the state our university had grounds).

My wife actually caught that one too when I did a few weeks back. I'm not sure which is worse, the fact that I never noticed him or the fact that my wife (who only watches sci-fi for me) noticed him too.

I lived and worked in Qatar a couple of years ago. I hated having to explain to delivery drivers where our complex was located or even getting directions anywhere. Not to mention the public transportation was poorly implemented since it was for foreigner as the locals would never be caught dead having to use a bus.

I have an app on my jail broken iPad called RetinaPad. It makes the app think it's running on an iphone 4 and therefore uses a higher resolution like on a retina display. Native iphone apps written for the retina display look great on my ipad now.
