I actually stopped playing this game because there was too much stuff to do, not because there wasn’t enough. The FOMO effect pushed me to do every single event that popped up and I was basically ignoring the story missions. Perhaps I’ll give the game one last hurrah.

It's a furry game.  There is a sliding scale of anthropomorphism, from talking animals to humanlike with animal features, to humans with animal bits.  You don't get to change what it is based on your squickiness over a misunderstood subset of a fan culture.

This game is far beyond being "not good to play".

This guy doesn't know what he's talking about.  It's designed around the concept of never being able to grind because of the on a track stages, so it puts up just enough of a stiff challenge without being overwhelming.  You even get to choose if you want to play it safe during branching paths.

That is true but due to the nature of how the game handles save states, it is still quite possible to find yourself in an almost deathloop if you hit the most recent intermission with low health and low resources like in one of my older runs.

One of the most heartbreaking characters to watch is Boron. Often you’ll find him in the kitchen chowing down on food and he just. won’t. stop. eating. His little nom nom noms just broke my heart. I wondered if he was always a big boy growing up and was mercilessly teased by his classmates. And now he finds himself

Bootlicker

Back before Next wiped out some of the more bizarre colors, one of the prettiest colors I thought for grass was, oddly enough, bleach white.  It made the planet look like it was covered in tinsel.  And the term "Pepto Bismol Planet" was one I reserved for those airless worlds that kept showing up bright pink.  Now it

You can run a single wire to a chain of batteries and then have the last battery in the row connecting to whatever you want. Also anything inside a room or building that’s powered automatically gains power.

Crying out loud.  Get over it already.  I'm sick of hearing this same damn noise over and over again, for three fucking years.

No Man’s Sky is not a games as a service game. All these updates have been free and with zero lootboxes or microtransactions.  People are enjoying this game, flaws and all, so quit your bitching, dummy.

I wonder how big the riot would be if Nintendo went after Smooth McGroove.

There is no fuel for the freighter. There is fuel for your frigate fleet, and it is crafted with the same common elements you should be picking up regularly anyway(although getting tritium out of asteroids sucks).  The freighter hyperdrive takes the same warp cell you craft for your ship.

This is No Man's Pie.  It's That Alien's Pie, and she's a female.

“A mecha game should be clunky.”

Feminists: Why don’t men be in touch with their feelings and be sensitive?

I dare the SJWs to go all “that’s toxic masculinity” on this wonderful character.

Better this than ragging on Persona 5.

This is why I play these games on PC, where things like restoration patches exist.  Often it's just something simple like making a blank file named a certain way.

Wonder if Nintendo left the cradle robbing in tact.  :D
