It’s probably a sad commentary on my lifestyle that not eating out at all is almost 100% offsetting the smallish company-wide salary cut that was implemented by my employer. Not driving to the airport is saving me a couple tanks a month too, but I work at home when I am not onsite for work anyway.

I still drive as much as before since I’m deemed essential, I probably save like $70 a month in gas at this point.

Yep, three cars but I haven’t been to a gas station since February. Ironic that the reason gas is cheap is the same reason we won’t buy it cheap.

Very experienced mechanical engineer/product designer here. The bullshit that comes off of most 3D printers is not even remotely safe for medical use. Micro particles and nooks & crannies to foster bacterial/fungal growth abound. How do you ensure that the material isn’t off-gassing some toxic shit that the person who

This reads like 7th grade english assignment.

It makes me sad that people like you frequent this website :(

Classic case of Munchausen by Blocksy. Hurt the thing you love in order to get attention for saving it later.

I can’t see images like this and not think about Snowpiercer. God, that movie was fucked up.

When I was in high school we did some CAD on old Macintosh computers and everything seemed squared off. Even our best designers in the class was frustrated because the "curves" looked like they were made on an NES.

A car is a machine and removing functional parts diminishes it as a machine. Doors look naked without them. When you see a shaved door your first thought is “I wonder how you get in?” so now you’re wondering about the functionality of the car, rather than appreciating the design.

Sweet flame job, man!

Trust me, I thought about it already. However, the real issues with big block swaps in Panteras are the torque thru the ZF transaxle and the length of the engine. The ZF transaxle is very expensive to rebuild and can develop problems somewhere above 500 lb-ft of torque. The length of most big blocks (looks like the

You are mistaking these seats (that were actually superb) for the miserable “couch” seats with no support used in American cars of the day.

Owned a German car, have you?
