I knw NASCAR bodyshells haven’t had much to do with actual production cars in a very long time, but come on, they’re not even trying... I mean, just look at all that greenhouse!?

Who the hell knows with COVID inflation going on but I cannot in good conscience contribute to the inflation of nearly 30 year old commuters in beater condition, even if it is basically a Corolla under the skin.

The deeper I look at this car, the more convinced I become that his asking price is off by a factor of 10.

A good wiper discussion just doesn’t come up organically often enough so three things:

Looks great... until they put it next to the original and suddenly it looks to squat and cab-forward. Even with the dopey 1970s skinny tire stance, that 240Z is perfection.

I kinda want to restomod one of those Arrow/Sapporo/Challengers...

If they need some help getting rid of it...

My buddy blacked out his reflectors on his black car and it does look pretty good. He also did his headlight and taillight covers and, again, it looks good but visibility sucks and he’s probably going to get rear-ended at dusk/dawn one day.

Well, I’m not the kind to kiss and tell,
But I’ve been seen with Farrah.
I’ve never been with anything less than a nine, so fine.

I’ve been on fire with Sally Field,
Gone fast with a girl named Bo,
But somehow they just don’t end up as mine.

It’s a death defyin’ life I lead,
I take my chances.

Hey, I’ve got one of those. Another thrift store find from years ago that’s in the attic. Unfortunately, it didn’t have anything with it - games, controllers, anything - it’s just the console.

Because CGA was terrible. In hi-res 320x200 graphics mode where you freely draw pixels on the screen, you could only use one of three 4-color palettes.

I almost said something about the rest of them being cut up for race cars.

There’s some good general tips that apply to any kind of photography. The biggest being actually seeing, which many of the other tips feed into.

Donking kept many G-bodies out of the junkyard longer than otherwise since nobody else seems to be interested in doing anything with them despite them being a potentially great hot-rodding platform.

I voted NP because 80's performance cars are on the rise as the people who grew up with them are getting nostalgic for them and now have some money and I think if these cars have meaning to you and you want one in time capsule condition, you’re going to have a hard time doing better than this.

What about weight? I could barely move our final 35" CRT by myself when I carted it off to the thrift store for people like you looking for console displays (don’t worry, I’ve got a pair of Commodore 1072s and a 1084 in the attic for emergencies) but the last 55" LCD I bought, the guy at the store got it off the shelf

Nice. I put an ‘03/04 IRS in my ‘96 GT along with coilovers on NOS Cobra/Bilstien struts up front a couple of years ago and I love it.

It’s the heir to the Sebring/200 and Solara convertibles’ crumbling kingdom.

There is so much potential for mixing & matching with the Fox platform with so many Foxbody variants in the early years to go with a quarter of a century of factory chassis and drivetrain development up through the Terminator Cobras, not to mention all the aftermarket Mustang support for the Fox and SN95 that

It’s been a while since I’ve shopped for a wireless lav mic - looks like the cheap, brand you never heard of from China brands have entered the space and displaced Samson on the low end. Makes my old Azden set look like big money now.
