Fore/aft motorized seats are an abomination. If it can’t be shoved back immediately by grabbing a handle, it’s already broken.

What if instead of locking you out, it gave a warning that “This motor is not designed for excessive, repetitive use. Abusing its use will cause premature failure” for privately owned vehicles?

It had the 4L straight 6 & 6mt. I only used first gear in traffic jams and off-road :)

This. I used to daily a manual Mustang GT, that thing could burble at like 3 mph in 1st all day. My hour commute in rush hour wasn’t bad at all.

I’m vey glad that we no longer have to worry about retracting power deployable antennae for car washes.
I never owned a car with such an antenna but when I was a lot porter at a Chevy dealer back in the day, I forgot to retract the antenna a couple of times and it resulted in some damage and a scolding.

The GM Vatssystem...it was such a joke, you drive your car too much the chip would wear out if it didn’t fall out of the key.
