Jeep Wrangler, specifically the TJ produced from ‘97-’06. That was the best Wrangler. It’s really a cool experience, even on pavement. I’ve owned a ton of vehicles and driven more than I can count (lots of rentals for work) and nothing else is even close to the experience I had driving a TJ.

You’re more terrible than both!

I think a lot of people who own 4WD vehicles don’t know that you’re supposed to engage 4WD once a month, especially during summer, to keep everything good. It says so right in the owner’s manual.

We have a winner!

Without even beginning to read the comments, I know there will be a ton of people hating on the Eddie Bauer Fords but I think it is misdirected. The Eddie Bauer package was pretty nice in my experience, and I thought the two-tone paint schemes were quite sharp. The first vehicle I can remember riding in was my mom’s

I have to disagree with you on this one. The Nautica package was a significant upgrade over the next level down package. The interior was handsome and the seats were very comfortable. The exterior was not so great though. That yellow line looks like urine and white wheels are dumb, especially on a FWD vehicle that

The Lincoln Town Car Cartier, which was produced in 2001 and may have been produced a year or two after. What did the Cartier edition get give the buyer for his or her money (my grandparents included)? Embroidered Cartier logos on the seat backs and floor mats, a nicer looking analog clock on the dash, and chrome

I’m a huge fan of The Sopranos but I blew my car wad on something fast this summer. And even if I still had it, it wouldn’t be enough for this laugh inducing asking price. All that said, I think I know what my next license plate is going to be. An exceptionally subtle allusion for other fans.

Nothing says F U quite like a Bentley Continental GT convertible. Preferably in BRG but triple blue works just as well.

Omaha’s car culture is not good. We actually have a ton of very special cars in town but the car gatherings are run by some very big egos. Everybody thinks they “know” the owner of all of the exotic stuff and acts like it’s a secret club because they talked for 10 minutes at cars & coffee.

So a few months ago I made a

Thanks, I just made it up for that comment but I think I’ll use it going forward.

Your comment is somewhat to my point. Overlanding culture is stupid and needs to die. So many of them aren’t doing anything that they couldn’t do in a bone stock Ford Explorer, with or without the added goodies of the Timberline trim. But they’re taking 400 pictures of their vehicles for their narcisistagram account.
O

Overlanding. Overland rigs are generally the worst of both worlds and those pop-up tents are ridiculous. Either build a legitimate off-roader and pitch a tent or buy and RV and go hiking.
My next door neighbor has a 2013 JKU Rubicon with a Ford 1 ton axle up front and a GM 1 ton out back. It has 40" stickies on bead

I owned a 2002 Mercury Cougar in V6 Ultimate trim back in 2009-2011. It was not a bad car per se, but the fuel economy was lackluster and the performance was not good. Steering was too heavy for how little feedback reached the driver. The rear seat is for kids only. The bright spot was that the hatchback trunk was

Hope springs eternal

Fuck China, seriously. They’ve literally never played fair in trade with the U.S. or any country for that matter. They BS BS BS their way into favorable trade relations with the United States, only to steal tech and trade secrets for decades. I am so happy this is happening and very hopeful that whoever is actually in

Per my previous comment.

Looks like a nice car and all, but I am completely out on anything with capacitive touch on the steering wheel spokes. Whoever signed off on that bone headed mistake should be flogged with an overcooked schnitzel.

I’ll be gas only until charge times are comparable to gas filling and highway range is easily 400 miles. Not trying to be contrarian, I’m just on of those outlier cases that drives 1500-2000 miles per week in my personal vehicle. Today for example, I drove 419 miles.
