All the buyer got for his or her $270k was something pretty to look at and nice to hear. Not so great to drive.

You’d be surprised to learn that any Fusion with ventilated seats was over $40k MSRP in the states, and that was years and a few price increases ago. Heated seats can be had in just about anything under $40k, but the vehicles under $40k with cooled or ventilated seats are incredibly few.

I didn’t realize the Rav4 could be had with ventilated seats but I checked the website and yup! Not sure (didn’t check if) you can get them under $40k since it’s part of a package that is optional and only available on higher trims. It is worth noting that it’s still not leather seats, and that matters to some people…

Honda Accord is the answer. It can be had with luxury kit such as heated & cooled leather seats, and a heated steering wheel. It has a powerful 2 litre turbocharged engine, and a spacious back seat.
