I just... think I’d rather find a ratty C5 Corvette for this money. Or maybe like an Orange 1996 Mustang GT with money left over for mods. IDK. This MR2 is cool and nice but not quite $15k cool and nice.

People who own or have reviewed the Mach-E generally say that it is a superb automobile. And if the Lightning drives as well as the F-150 upon which it is based, the Lightning should be a excellent vehicle.

That’s sort of a self-conflicting statement but I get your point.

I completely agree. It’s the same as most consumer goods. I’m not exactly an environmentalist, but I consider the environmental impact with regard to life expectancy of the things I purchase. Cars, kitchen appliances, grills, shoes.... which is why I tend to save some money up and buy products that will last decades.

I’ve said it before in the comments of another article and I’ll say it again here: Tesla’s shenanigans are going to eventually affect the resale value of its vehicles. Consumers are going to wise up to the growing list of mid-year tweaks, and realize that you have to know the build date of the car to know if you’re

Mercedes-Benz ML320 in Jurassic Park 2 was pretty pitiful.

It was literally a bit of a stretch... as it was on a chopped and hacked Fusion CD4.

That’s a long way of saying, “don’t put all of your eggs in one basket.” And I agree with you.

A) That’s not at all what happened with Tesla.
2) I seriously doubt that will be the case with the good people in Rotterdam. The kind of people who get outraged by a bridge being moved out of the way for a boat to move, aren’t exactly the kind of people who make big business decisions. They’re more like the kind of

Say it again for the folks in back! Gosh those 3 cyl. Fords are just the absolute worst, when they don’t need to be! Honda has 4 cyl motors of the same displacement that are perfectly adequate, while the 1.5L Fords are absolute trash.

Well gosh, if you’d read a little bit you would learn that it’s unlikely that the bridge will actually be dismantled. Yes there is an opportunity cost associated with building this particular billion dollar vessel at that particular yard. There is such a cost associated with absolutely everything.

I understand the issue that you encounter, because of how you outlined it. That issue does not detract from the considerable economic impact that building this boat has on the community. Circling back to cars because we’re on Jalopnik: Every Corvette that rolls off the assembly line is good for Bowling Green, KY.

I hope the outraged parties will also disavow the hefty, positive economic impact that accompanied the building of such a fabulous vessel in the area.

That’s strange. Full disclosure I’ve only ever driven an E46 at parking lot speeds as a lot porter. But I had the opposite experience when I first drove an E46 330 CIC. Wow, I absolutely adored everything about that car.

Funny that you should mention the ZX2, because I saw one in damn near showroom condition on the road the other day. The paint was in incredible shape (and it was that gorgeous blue that they offered)! I even rolled down the window at the traffic light to hear if it was running like shit, but sure enough it was softly

No dice at quite literally any price. I don’t want to be in the same damn zip code as a Mustang II, let alone have it take up space in my garage.

The Lincoln Continental reboot. They priced it up there where it belonged, giving consumers the ability to option is up to almost $90k. It could have been the rebirth of Lincoln as the top dog in Luxury. It was an opportunity to get Presidents, dictators, movie stars, and Mad Men driving Lincoln again! Instead, it was
