My student loans we either 6.99% or 7.99%, I can’t remember. But I remember it was high, so I paid them off PDQ. Had they been at 3.25%, hell yea stretch it out.

Good take, personal finance is a really tricky thing that is easy to get wrong, and what’s “right” isn’t the same for everybody. I’ve lived on both ends of the spectrum, and my personal philosophy is a little more nuanced now than it was a year ago, when it was Dave Ramsey or bust. Yahoo! Finance got this one wrong,

California’s sunset plate was the GOAT, but I’m also partial to the New York plate with the Statue of Liberty

Anybody with kids in car seats should just get a minivan and call it good. You’ll never regret having the space, and having half of the side of the vehicle slide out of the way for you to load up the kids is a Godsend. Vans are relatively fuel efficient, and people know it’s a family hauler so you typically get a

False. Have you any idea how much space a rear facing child safety seat requires? Have you any idea how much space a stroller requires? A GTI works if the driver is pint size and the parents never hope to haul luggage or groceries along with their stroller.

Even if the blower is toast, plugging a new blower into existing plumbing is an afternoon job. As for the cost of the new blower, it’s just money... can’t take it with you.

Great, now I won’t be able to stand up from my desk at work for the next 10 minutes.

Great, now we can see less ugly and more efficient Equinoxes (Equinocies?) accelerating slowly and traveling 10mph under the speed limit.

And another thing! BMW needs to admit its wrongdoing and give the otherwise fantastic 4 series, M3, & M4 a serious rhinoplasty.

The Colorado and Canyon can skate by for the time being, I guess. Every other BoF vehicle from GM needs a clean sheet re-design but I’ll settle for a facelift.

I completely agree. And frankly, none of them look like they’re floating at all. It just makes vehicles look less composed, more broken up. There is no... what’s the phrase I’m looking for... aesthetic ROI on complicating the design in this way.

Wow, one of the easiest NP votes I’ve ever made!

I only swill vin de bourgogne behind the wheel, thank you very much.

Dear Big 3: Please bring back interiors of blue, burgundy, and green.

Good to know that Katzkin is Ford’s OEM, thank you for the tip! That settles it for me, I am going to have Katzkin leather seats installed.
I wear suits for work and get in & out of the car a couple dozen times per day, so leather is a far better option as it is easier on my pants.

Aftermarket leather may be a good option for you. I’ve never personally done it (the vast majority of my personal vehicles were used) but I’ve seen an aftermarket Katzkin interior and it was quite nice.

Same. I really want butt warmers, which should be standard equipment on a $52k XLT, but I don’t $75,000 want them. In order to save $20k, I will wear an additional pair of underpants.
And if I could afford $75k, I would probably go for a Rivian. Or a brand new Raptor.
