Well here comes mister math guy, leveling all of my objections and cynicism.

I wonder how big these things have to be, and how string their rigging must be in order to even move the needle on thrust & emissions. The vessels in question weigh millions of pounds. Calling it now: This is vaporware.

HaHa! I sometimes gasp in traffic when I see something. Wife lets out an audible groan to remind me that I don’t need to tell her about that uncommon/rare/cool/incredibly fast car that I just saw.

1st gear: I actually saw a semi truck pulling a trailer full of Rivian pickups in Omaha on Wednesday. They were all different colors, which is incredibly encouraging to see. Actual people purchased actual pickups that are not painted something grayscale! The green one looked absolutely fantastic!

This is why you should refuse to pay ADM! Imagine blowing $750k to have someone offed over a chick who lives 800 miles away.

The 4Runner, Tacoma, and GX won’t work for a big guy. Source: I am a big guy. You practically sit on the floor of the Taco and 4Runner and the GX just doesn’t have the space. I flirted with a GX once and after an overnight test drive, just couldn’t get comfortable.

Drive faster so you get off the road sooner”

Obviously this price is trash but at the right price, this is a “shutup and take my money!” vehicle for me. Like, if I saw this thing at a dealer in town for a reasonable amount like... IDK $17,500 I would walk in and write a check right then and there.

The stupidest one has already been thrown around, in all seriousness, by an automaker: Heated seats. Oh yea, those heating elements are there under your Sensatech seats. Yup, the buttons exist. But if you want the CAN bus to direct a little bit of current that your alternator is producing to the heating elements,

Thank you, friendly Northerner

True. Though I’d like to remind you that Dieselgate reached beyond the brand that sells slow, shitty, unreliable, boring cars. It directly affected Audi and Porsche. In turn, it turned up the scrutiny on every other automaker that sells diesels and just about all of them also got caught.

Neutral: I suppose that Dieselgate is probably a great driver on a global scale, but domestically Tesla is a greater factor. We Americans love our status symbols, and as soon as a “cool” EV came to market, other manufacturers started drawing up plans.

Unrelated but also neutral: For the second time in IDK how many

I agree with you almost completely. The only point of contention is the house thing. See, you never actually own your house. Not even after the mortgage is paid off. If you don’t pay your property taxes, people from the government who have guns will come and remove your from your home and then sell it.

Lots of people will mention cheap tires in their ND comments, and wonder what else has been done on the cheap. But those items are the least of your worries with a single clutch automated manual Maserati. These cars are ND at half the price. Get a later model with a conventional slushbox, I’m told they’re actually

Do you leave tips?

People who criticize others for how they choose to deploy resources are complete morons. “Oh he should use that money to help people”
Newsflash: Paying tens of millions of dollars to launch one’s ass into space helps a ton of people by paying their paychecks. When I write a big f**king check for a brand new Lightning,

Can they make a shape shift car that isn’t fucking ugly?

Nobody in NYC is averaging 25mph. I live in Omaha and drive 55-65 on the interstate on the way to and from the office and my average speed since coming into possession of my vehicle is 26mph.

If it requires premium, then at least it’s got the 6.2

Oh I see how it is... Playing the odds instead of speculating wildly.
The rest of us are hoping it’s no stripes 2021 GT500.
Edit: It can’t be a GT500 because the fuel tank is only 16 gallons. Must be a... RAM Power Wagon.
