The trouble is that when the flexcab is not in use, it is just a space eater with no functionality. Sure, there’s still space under that shell, but the presence of the glass window means fragility. What you end up with, is a very small bed, and the front 1/3 has a severe height restriction.

If it checks out in terms of frame rust, then NP. And I am really happy to see a close score on this! As of late it’s been lots of “hell nah” and “hell yea” and not a lot that made people think.

heh. heheheheheh. heh. heh heh. heh.

I just can’t take John Cho seriously after he played that introverted little punk pothead in Harold & Kumar go to White Castle.

“NGS” stands for next generation sequencing where I come from.

Who remembers how supremely comfortable the seats were in these old Buicks? NFP!!

Right, but let’s see any 1994 Accord in the world with 127k on the clock and an interior in as great of shape as this Buick’s.

Waze is a google app and I refuse to give my location to Google. So there’s that.
I don’t even use google on my phone, and everything I do on computer or smartphone is on a VPN. Phone browser is Brave or DuckDuck in addition to VPN. Makes it a bit of a PITA to do online shopping since everything thinks I’m in Chicago.

Neutral: Sooooo right. For all that Toyota does right, they do some things just so dang wrong. Infotainment is not one of their strong suits. I’ve rented a LOT of Toyotas and found that transmission tuning is hit or miss (looking at you, Tacoma).

Ehhhh not really. I’m not an engineer and I haven’t seen a diagram, so I don’t really understand it. But I encourage you to google search 2008 tahoe hybrid transmission, and read the linked Car and Driver article.

If I’m not mistaken, it’s actually a dual transmission. I believe but am too lazy to go verify, that it’s a 4 speed slushbox, mated with a CVT and depending on if it’s stop & go or steady speed, the vehicle switches over.

EDIT: I did go do the research. And it’s not a CVT. It is continuously variable but not like a

Just here to remind everyone that all Nissan has done is a relative hefty mid-cycle refresh on all of its cars, which continue to use ancient platforms.

This is so dumb. Everybody else has said it but I’ll take a swing at this deceased equine: If the repair costs less than the difference between one’s asking price and the market value of a working example, there’s more lurking in the shadows that the seller doesn’t want you to know. -$2500 for the assumed other

Same goes with Honda’s cylinder deactivation, VCM. It actually saves a decent amount of fuel, but tends to foul up spark plugs and ruin the active engine mounts. I am told that the newest iteration of “VCM” fixed those well-known issues, but will always remain skeptical.

These ADM’s won’t age well. I predict that this vehicle flops and am taking the unders on a 4.5 year production run.

The Subaru Impreza is like 50-75 hp short of stardom. I honestly think Subaru should slim down the model line. Make one model with around 225 horsepower and another with 300-325 horsepower. The former should ride & handle about like an E46, and the latter should obviously be more stiffly sprung.

This case may not get thrown own altogether, but Ford will win handily.
Edit: I think Ford’s CoPilot 360 name is better than Bluecruise, though. Bluecruise makes me think there’s a Viagra involved. I think CoPilot 360 is an apt descriptor for what the systems actually do. The systems handle the operation while the

Regarding inflation: I think it’s going to be 2 years of bad inflation that will settle back down, but we’re definitely going to see these prices have a ratcheting effect. Nothing will go ‘back down’. Just my $.02

Ah yes, the far Northern state of Wisconsin. Definitely known for it’s long racist past. People think the front line of civil rights was in Birmingham or some such Southern City. But now that the rock is gone, we can acknowledge that it was in fact the city of Madison that was really the forefront of fighting

Wow that’s kind of insane. Here in NE, you buy the car and that’s it. Title shows up at your house, from the dealer, within 30 days. I’m told that if you have a loan, title goes to the DMV. We go to the DMV with the bill of sale and pay our taxes and titling fees. Then we walk out with a pink slip and plates.
