It would help if she did some movies with edge and other good actors — find another Out of Sight and maybe she could get back on track.

Timely, provocative, punk rock with a beat. She's a badass hero.

That wee horsie is more than welcome to come live with me and my dachshunds.

[corrected for never mind.]

I've said it before, but I just cannot fathom how a self-respecting lawyer would have agreed to this show or to her VF story. The more publicity she gets, the more I would suspect a prosecutor would want to make an example of her. And boy, would I like to see her made an example of. Vile, entitled and worthless are

Look at that f*&kin' hipster.

While this guy goes way over the line, I confess to be a bit flummoxed by the beatification of a guy whose television shows really do appeal to the worst in people. I watched the first season with a "look-at-that-trainwreck" humor, but the sordidness of the whole endeavor did begin to pall thereafter.

@Ivriniel: I can't speak for anyone else, but this holy roller stuff doesn't sit well with the fact that he's a known towering asshole who really doesn't treat people around him at all well.

I swear to God, I thought this was Ramona from Real Housewives of New York.

@lolo: The epidemiology on this is far from clear, and any doctor who said that was engaging in pretty wild speculation. The causes of any particular patient's cancer are hard if not impossible to pinpoint.

I really think the site is meant to be satire.

She's a vile scrap of human waste. I cannot for the life of me fathom how people welcome her to be a part of *anything* any more. She should be ashamed of herself, but she's incapable of shame.

@shorty63136: He's an associate professor, so no tenure.

@Anilisha: I'll bet he wasn't asked about the defecation part — it's much too specific. I tell my clients to tell the truth, but not to be promiscuous with the truth.

@Aesop's Foibles.: I can imagine a few arguments, not that I approve of them. The fact that the guy is a habitual scofflaw, one could argue, is evidence that he has no respect for the rule of law or the police, making it somewhat more likely that the cop's defense (that the bicyclist was aiming for him) is true.

Why the guy felt inclined to offer this sort of information in a court of law is beyond me. It certainly doesn't help the case, and it sure fits the image of critical mass as a bunch of stoned idiots.

I literally thought to myself as I watched this live this morning (slow getting outta the house!)...
