@browan04: Yes. A breathtaking economy of expression. We all need a Joan in our lives. #madmenseasonfinale

@Doreen DelPurgatorio: Indeed. #madmenseasonfinale
Total dick move.
@bess marvin, girl detective: I actually think they do a lot to show why Don wanted to escape his identity. Orphaned; abused; poor — not exactly the origins of success in a world that still was ruled by wasps and connections. #madmenseasonfinale
@charliekohler: It'll end up an acronym like the rest of advertising. BBDO, DDB, etc. #madmenseasonfinale
@Tchotchke: I completely agree about Henry. He's a cipher. #madmenseasonfinale
@PilgrimSoul: Well, he could be going out to help her find a place to stay for the six weeks.
@fulanita: Also, she is a pretty messed up mother a lot of the time. She barely seems to connect with her kids. #openthread
@veronykah: This is exactly why I, at least, think it's a terrible mistake, so I'm not sure I'm getting why you're having a problem with the criticisms. Also, of course it's true that people do this all the time — that doesn't make it a good idea or one that we shouldn't criticize. How many of these relationships…
@nycbaby: You should read Approaching Eye Level by Vivian Gornick — there's a great chapter called The Problem of Love, which is kind of about your point. #openthread
@curiousgeorgiana: I hope so too, re Henry. But I'd rather see her have an early feminist epiphany and be on her own and okay with it. That woman needs to unfreeze without the aid of a man. #openthread
@sweethickory: I read a while back that the show was insisting the actresses put on weight to look more period-accurate. I'm guessing it's more likely that than another pregnancy storyline. #openthread
@AnnieSaBu: I've definitely noticed the parallels. When Sal got fired I posted about how it felt like he got whacked. #openthread
@curiousgeorgiana: I find the whole Henry thing just unbelievable, on a show that otherwise always seems to get it right. I also wanted them to stay together, despite all the bad stuff, but I appreciated how at the end it seemed like there was hope for everyone (at least the adults). I'm betting Henry doesn't work…
@hortense: But she's barely singing on here. It's mostly sexyvoice talking and a single chorus looped over and over again, on which Robin Thicke is singing too. I literally don't think there's a moment in the song where it's just her voice singing alone.
@InABook: Oh please. Settle down house mother. #fraternitynewspapertheft
@squeakel: whoa — excellent information of which I was unaware! #realhousewivesoftheocpremiere
@Lazy Line Painter Jane: Agreed. I'm wondering how she's going to do in the real world where you can't be a snarling bitch all the time. #taylorleavesrachelzoe
I can haz dignity back? #tgif
@hfree: You took the words right out of my, erm, keyboard. Just because PW failed, perhaps epically, doesn't mean the lists should go away. It seems to me the most important question is whether the person (or people) compiling any list of "bests" is someone whose judgment you trust. #booklists
