Ok but... that is not a Wordpress problem. The broken link in the chain is the host/user/provider slacking off on their responsibilities... not the platform. Every platform or system has issue and requires patching.... Thats why Windows, Linux and Mac OS get patched too. You cannot avoid this.

There is nothing wrong with WordPress. That list you linked to is mostly a bunch of shoddy plugins some of them from versions of Wordpress that are like 2-3 major releases behind. That is like saying “Windows 8.1 is bad because here is a link that shows issues with Photoshop 3.0 on Windows 95”.
