I think you’re reading too much into it. Ever since Origins (at the very latest, possibly earlier) there have been similar pop-up ads for the in-game store when they had deals or new items, which pop up when you first load into the main menu after launching the game. Yep. Especially considering how little they have used it. The two Mordor games were great but I don’t really see how the system works with Wonder Woman.  

totally agree ! the nemesis system should be available for all developers. it’s such a fascinating way to give unimportant npcs character and intrigue, something that could make beating up goons in spider-man 2 more interesting
