I also disagree with yesterdays narrative surrounding my cellphone.

I mean, I know Gooddell is a jackwagon, but does anyone outside of Boston actually believe that the balls were not doctored?
Self-serving nonsense from a liar and a cheat. Brady’s statements should be treated with the same derision as Goodell’s. Goodell is not a tyrant for attempting to police on-field misconduct. That’s basically the only kind of misconduct he can properly investigate and punish.
I think people are missing the point; the NFL doesn’t have the right to see the phone (since it wasn’t team issued) or what’s on it, but if you are found not to be cooperating with an investigation (much like with your office HR department), you can get shitcanned (or suspended) for it.
SHOWS ME THE TEXTS SENT TO ME BY THE OTHER PERSON
So Stephen A Smith was right about Brady destroying his phone. This kind of wrecks havoc with my narrative of the Universe.
Gee, you mean destroying evidence and not cooperating with an investigation has consequences?
I agree with that. When you look at it holistically, Johnson’s clearly should be a catch, and Dez’ is borderline but probably not. That seems to be what the new rule would give you.
I forget Grantland is still technically part of ESPN. It’s easy to forget that the one site that has decent intelligent writing is on the same web page as the one spewing Ballghazi vomit for the last 6 months.
Then criticize them for that? I mean, if that’s the case, then the baseball players are the smartest kids in the country. They get out of there and get high paying jobs in America. I read his whole quote, and it was offensive to all the parties involved. He is a dick about it and it had nothing to do with ethnic…
“Same ole song and dance from Colin.”
That will be a very short discussion. You have Bob Ley.......and yeah drawing a blank on ESPN personalities and intelligence.
Bomani Jones teed off on him on his radio show last night (heard the podcast version this morning)
He’s on the record as saying nice things about Puerto Ricans, though. I even heard him say, “There’s no such thing as bad PR.”
Except it did happen when the Dutch played. And towards Balotelli. And towards English players. And towards fans outside the stadium.
Frimpong: “Uh, boss, that puffy coat seems a bit... girly.”
Wenger: “......”
While it sucks for players like Frimpong who must turn to a league like Russia out of career necessity—the Ghanaian came up in Arsenal’s youth academy before being cut loose—high-profile black players will hopefully take the matter out of the racist fans’ hands.
The technical difficulty was that the batteries ran out on Drew’s equipment, which nuked our audio files from his end, and that we then redid the podcast and the batteries ran out on my equipment, which nuked them from mine, at which point we said, “Fuck it.”
