also thought of 'heaven sent'.

I love Dune and Rush and shows that are difficult to pitch. So I comment on AV Club to be able to talk about such things. But I'm not fast and cool enough for the commentariat.

the direction probably has her doing the excessive nonchalant thing. I don't like it either and I'm surprised it's jiving so well with so many people.

the cast is just so good and well established that I don't even mind megan fox so much, whom I'm not loving as reagan. I wish I was like most of you seem to be. I just think the over-confident, always sort of aloof demeanor doesn't ring true to me. lamorne morris, on the other hand, is just amazing.

I was disgusted too yet fascinated. same amount of pity and disgust. no matter how confident and self-aware uncle pete may be, he's still a miserable sod. I like to see that laid bare on "tv". I mean, in real life I'd still want to school him somehow or at least I still cling to the notion that people need to be told

yes, I understand that, but the promo seemed to show people confronting her over it. I don't know what will happen.

indeed. I think it's pretty much impossible to depict a contemporary art show of the sort in earnest and get away with it. too many inherent jokes.

true, it'll probably go that route.

[promo spoilers]

yeah, that was a nice touch indeed.

I hardly ever laugh by myself, even when I think a show is funny, but I laughed out loud at the stuck to giant magnetic balls scene. but I cringed so badly at the blue dye thing. I kept wishing that the gallery goers would clap and think it was a performance or something. but what happened next made it so worth it.

aw farts, I like hutcherson but I don't want to watch this potentially very white/bro thing.

yeah I remember that cake. that wasn't eating in my book, that was like taking drugs or something. ugh. but I'm all weirded out by usual depictions of people eating (or failing to do so) on tv.

yeah, she's a recent acquaintance of delia's so I understand her being invited to the wedding but not being a bridesmaid. I love retta, hope barbara gets more space in the show too. (and maaan I'd love to see abby eat even a salad: anything! she NEVER eats)

yeah, and since her performance is so great, I can see why they're being smart enough to give her more space in the show.

also loved her dress. would wear any of those dresses, except for delia's.

I hated that he called her whore. that's so wrong in so many levels, no matter how big her mistake. well, I hated it but I also liked it because it helps drive the point home that gordon just wasn't really a good idea to begin with.

I think so too. the character delia deserves so much more, both as in better writing and as in someone more suitable for her. the reason why I don't think he was suitable is that he tended to be slightly too domineering (sometimes subtly so as not to seem creepy) and it struck me that he didn't actually treat her as

what can I say, I like 'em damaged.

it's frustrating that in a show as well-written as this one they still incur in slips such as the disappearing kids of phoebe's and the mysterious dog visitor.
