Yes, never take advantage of 0% interest, it’s only free money after all.

Yes, absolutely use your cash to purchase an asset that depreciates faster than anything known to man. On the other hand, you could take advantage of some of the lowest rates ever available, like 0% from some manufacturers, and use that cash to either invest at a return or pay off other high interest loans if you have

BTW, what type of reasonable revisions are we talking about?

Ding, ding, ding. You are absolutely correct sir! I am amazed at all the blatant misinformation that is propagated by folks on the internet who have no inkling how the business end of a dealership operates. That is what a dealership is too, for the uninformed. It’s an actual business with operating costs, expenses and

I’ve always had the exact opposite result from the other side of the desk. Have never let anyone strike out and initial any of the language on a contract and never had any one blow out over it. It always seems to be MD’s and attorneys who want to amend contracts for some reason, weird...

Ok, I get it...

It’s obvious you seem to think there are no decent dealers, dealerships or salespeople in existence. I’ll be the first to admit there are bad folks in the car business. Just as there are in insurance, real estate, law, medicine...so to put a fine point on it why are dealers obsolete?

Okay, I don’t see any facts or criticism just short smart-ass quips. Just looking for you to back up what you’re saying. If you can’t, no worries.

All of the ones dealing with buying and selling cars...so, why all the hate? I’m honestly asking. Bad experience every time you bought a car from a dealer?

Well that might explain why you’re not getting a response.

I have read all your posts, why all the hate?

Got it, makes sense now. I will say that most consumers would be much better off purchasing from an actual franchised dealership as opposed to a BHPH lot. Based on the business model for most BHPH dealers a consumer would be in a much worse position in the vehicle they purchased.

I will agree with you regarding the ability of a luxury dealer to handle internet leads better than most other types of stores. However, thinking that some new car dealers try to represent themselves as BHPH is just not the case based on how BHPH works. Please elaborate.

It is not the case anywhere for that matter. The manufacturer provides the invoice to the dealership just prior to the vehicles arrival and the dealership has no way of altering that document. Anyone who believes this is sadly misinformed.

I’m not sure you are completely correct on some of these statements. I tried to reply to an earlier post but it disappeared so I’ll ask the same question again. Could you please break down what holdback is and what the dealer incentives not on the invoice are?

Enlighten us as to how the actual invoice is calculated and what is it that dealer’s show and use with customers.

^This 100%^ I am so tired of the pack mentality most seem to have here when it comes to dealerships or stealerships as you folks love to call them. Even in a post about crazy customers it gets turned around on the dealer. Hell, one of the stories even devolves into “dealers are the worst” territory. I have seen

You have no idea what you are talking about and your comments are invalid in this day and age sir.

Way to stay on topic.

Yes, this is a totally valid comparison.
