Rob is a master click-baiter. Welcome to Gawker Media.

In celebration of the new Star Wars trailer, I present to you:

I stopped reading Rob’s Gotham recaps last season. I checked in to see if his snarkiness was less obnoxious with the improvements in the show in it’s 2nd season but when I saw it was business as usual I went back to ignoringhis recaps.

On one show it is the science that is ridiculous, on another it is the emotions and characterization.

People on Gotham do crazy shit in relation to their character, their motivation, and all inherent logic really. The crazy shit you’re talking about in Flash is comic book business as usual. Just because a show is less fantastic doesn’t mean it’s more realistic.

I am actually Ok with Gotham, but this argument is dumb. Bricken has a problem with Gotham because everyone makes completely insane decisions, while he’s OK with Flash because everyone has insane powers. Two very different things.

She’s at the train station and, in that manner that only a superhero as vastly overpowered as the Flash can be, somehow the Flash can’t get close to the light-bolt-firing evil Linda.

Rob Bricken has severe problems with Gotham but not The Flash because people doing crazy shit in Gotham is way more ridiculous than people in Central City who can run hundreds of miles per second or turn into atomic fire or who can create tornadoes or throw fireballs from their hands or...Sharkman. Uuuh...yeah. That
